ingredients For Yummy Katori Chaat Recipe

For the bowl:

1 cup all purpose flour

2 tbsp corn flour

1/2 tbsp carom seeds

2 tbsp oil

1/2 tsp salt Water (as required)

Oil For green chutney:

1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves

3-4 green chillies

2 tbsp roasted chickpeas

1” ginger 2 tbsp

lemon juice Salt to taste

2 tbsp curd

For curd:

2 cups curd

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt For chaat:

1 cup boiled chickpeas

2 boiled potatoes

To serve: 

 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

finely chopped 1/2 cup tomato,

chopped 2 tbsp coriander leaves

1/2 cup sev

1/2 cup tamarind chutney

1/2 cup pomegranate

1 tsp black salt

1 tsp chaat masala

How To Make Yummy Katori Chaat Recipe

Add desi ghee, salt, ajwain to the maida and rub it well. Add enough water to make a stiff but smooth dough. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes and knead it again for a minute. Break the dough into balls. Roll the balls thinly. Using a cookie cutter or a bowl,

Cut the dough into round shapes. Make holes in the disc with a fork. Place this disc on the base of a steel glass or bowl. Heat oil in a pan. Put the disc in medium hot oil and fry till it turns light in color. Now take out the bowl or glass, the disc made of flour will take the shape of the bowl, fry it till it becomes golden brown.

Strain the curd through a sieve and add 2 tbsp sugar and 2 tsp salt to it. Mix all the ingredients of the chutney together and grind them to make a smooth paste. Now apply sweet curd on the base of the bowl for serving. Put cubed potatoes and boiled chickpeas on top of it.

Now pour curd, green chutney and sweet tamarind chutney over it. Add chopped onions, tomatoes, pomegranate seeds, sev, chaat masala on top and serve it.
