Ingredients for  Aloo Tikki Chaat Recipe

Boiled potatoes – 4-5

Corn flour – 2 tbsp

Gram dal – 3-4 tbsp

Dry mango powder – 1/2 tsp

Garam masala – 1/4 tsp

Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp

Green chilli – 1 Lemon juice 

1 tsp Green chutney 

1/4 cup Onion finely chopped 

 1/2 cup Sev 

1/2 cup Green coriander leaves 

2-3 tablespoons Salt – according to taste

How To Make Aloo Tikki Chaat Recipe

To make Aloo Tikki Chaat, first clean the gram lentils and soak them in water for 2-3 hours. After the stipulated time, drain the excess water from the lentils and put them in a pressure cooker, add a little salt and three-fourth water and cook for 2 whistles.

After this, let the cooker cool down. When the pressure of the cooker releases automatically, take out the boiled lentils in a sieve and then leave the lentils to cool down.

Now put boiled gram lentils in a mixing bowl. After this, add dry mango powder, garam masala and red chili powder and a pinch of salt to the lentils and mix everything well. Your stuffing is ready. After this, boil the potatoes, peel them and mash them by putting them in a vessel.

Now add chopped green chillies, corn flour, lemon juice and a little salt to the potatoes and mix well.

Now divide the entire mixture into equal parts. After this, first give each part the shape of a ball and then press it with your palms to make it like a bowl. After this, fill it with the stuffing of chana dal. After this, close the stuffing from all sides and prepare the tikki.

In the same way, prepare all the potato tikkis one by one. After this, take a non-stick pan and heat it on medium flame.

When the pan gets hot, spread some oil on it and spread it all around. After this, put 5-6 tikkis on the pan and fry them. When they turn golden brown, flip them and fry the other side in the same way. After this, take out the tikkis in a plate. In the same way, fry all the potato tikkis properly.

After this, put the tikki in a serving bowl and break it. After this, add green chutney, tamarind chutney on top. Then add whipped curd, finely chopped onion, sev and chaat masala and serve the potato tikki chaat.
