Delicious Dry Fruit Barfi

 

Dates – 2 cups (400 grams

Walnuts – 1/2 cup (50 grams)

Cashews – 1/2 cup (50 grams)

Almonds – 1/2 cup (50 grams)

Dry ripe coconut – 1/2 cup (25 grams)

grated Pistachios – 2 tablespoons (20 grams)

Chironji – 2 tablespoons (20 grams)

Poppy seeds – 2 tablespoons (20 grams)

Nutmeg – 1

Small cardamom – 6-7

Desi ghee – 2 tablespoons

How To Make Delicious Dry Fruit Barfi

Cut dates into small pieces and remove the seeds. Remove the seeds from all the dates and cut them. Cut cashews into 7-8 pieces. Cut almonds into 7-8 pieces. Cut walnuts into small pieces.

Cut the pistachios into thin long pieces and keep them aside. Peel the cardamom and take out its seeds, and grind it with nutmeg to make a powder.

Heat the pan, add cashews, almonds and walnut pieces in the hot pan and fry them for 2-3 minutes while stirring continuously on low flame and take them out in a plate. Put ghee in the pan and let it melt. Now add poppy seeds and fry it for 2 minutes while stirring continuously till the color changes a little, keep the flame low. Now add nutmeg and cardamom powder and mix, add dates pieces, dry fruit pieces, add coconut,

Take out the mixture from the pan into a plate or bowl so that it cools down quickly. Apply some ghee on your hands and grease them. Take some mixture in your hand and press it to make a cylindrical roll. Put chopped pistachios in a plate and wrap the roll by placing it on top of the pistachios. The pistachios will look very nice when seen on top. Make 5-6 rolls with this mixture. Take one roll and wrap it tightly in foil. Close both the edges of the foil properly. Wrap all the rolls in foil in the same way and prepare them. Now keep these rolls in the fridge for 2 hours, they will set.

Cut the set rolls into thick round pieces and keep them on a plate. Cut all the rolls in the same way and prepare them. Dry fruit barfi is ready,
