1 cup dhuli urad (soaked in water for four to six hours)

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp asafoetida

1/4 tsp black pepper powder

1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped

1 tsp ginger, finely chopped

Oil (to fry)

1/2 tsp green chillies,

finely chopped

How To Make Yummy Medu Vada Recipe

  1. First of all, take out the lentils from the water and grind them. After this, add salt, asafoetida and black pepper and whisk it well.

2. Then add green chillies, ginger and coriander leaves.

3. Heat oil in a pan and add the prepared lentil mixture in it.

4. Remember, it is very important to make a hole in the middle while putting the patties in the oil.

5. Fry first on high flame and then on low flame.

6. Until it becomes light brown. After frying, take it out and serve.
