Delicious Malai Kofta

Although koftas can be made in many ways, malai kofta is a rich dish made with potatoes and cheese. You can try this dish at a dinner party.

Delicious Malai Kofta

Ingredients Delicious Malai Kofta

4 large potatoes, boiled

250 grams paneer

50 grams refined flour

1 tablespoon coriander leaves

3 onions, chopped

1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

2 tomatoes

200 ml malai or cream

2 tablespoons raisins and cashews,large

50 grams cashew paste

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

1/2 teaspoon Kitchen King masala

1large tablespoon kasuri methi,

Salt

1 tablespoon sugar

How To  make the kofta

1.Leave the boiled potatoes in the refrigerator for four to six hours.

2. Doing this will make it easier to make koftas.

3. Now mash the potatoes, paneer and flour.

4. The mixture should neither be too soft nor too hard.

5.Cut the raisins and cashews into small pieces. Add half a teaspoon of sugar.

6. Heat oil in a pan. Form balls of the paneer mixture and fill them with dried fruits.

7. Fry the koftas. If they burst, remove them, coat them with dry flour, and then fry again.

To make the gravy

Fry onion, ginger-garlic paste, and tomato paste.

2. Then add cashew paste. 3. Also, mix two tablespoons of hot milk into the paste.

3. Add all the dry spices except the kasuri methi.

4. Fry until the mixture starts leaving the sides.

5.Then add half a cup of water. When the gravy thickens slightly, add cream, a tablespoon of sugar, and dried fenugreek leaves.

6. Leave the gravy on low heat. When the grease begins to separate from the edges, add the fried koftas. Serve hot with roti.
