Sweet Corn Tikki

Ingredients  For Sweet Corn Tikki

Boiled potatoes-2

Gram flour-2-3 spoons

Boiled sweet corn-1/2 cup

Green chilli-2 to 3

Ginger-1 inch

Chaat masala-1/2 teaspoon

Bread Slice-4

Poha- 1/2 cup

Green coriander – as required

Salt- as per taste

How To Make Sweet Corn Tikki

 

First of all, peel the boiled potatoes and mash them well in a big bowl. -Add boiled sweet corn to mashed potatoes and prepare a paste by mixing well.

Now grind the bread slices in a mixer to make a powder and mix the bread powder well in the potato and sweet corn mixture.

Soak the poha in water for some time, take it out, squeeze out the water and mix it well in the potato and sweet corn mixture.

Add some gram flour to this paste for binding and mix well. -Prepare dough by mixing green chilli, ginger, chaat masala, green coriander and salt in this paste. -Make balls from the mixture of potatoes and sweet corn and flatten them with hands to give them the shape of tikkis.

Place a non-stick pan or kadhai on gas and add oil to it and heat it. -When the oil is hot, place the tikkis one by one in the pan and reduce the gas flame to medium. -Cry the tikkis thoroughly until they become golden brown on both sides. -When it is cooked well, take it out from the pan. -Sweet corn tikki is ready in 10 minutes
